I am a college student, so I would want to be an assistant or intern. I have already done two weddings with my mom's business, so I have experience.
And my school is online so I have a significant amount of time to commit to any job I have.
You should look for people who do wedding planning and get in touch with them.

If you are still in school a bride might be hesitant to trust their wedding to you because you might not be able to dedicate all the time necessary (in their mind). Why not look at an event catering job through the food and beverage areas of some local country clubs? They do a lot of weddings when they rent out the hall/rooms for their events, and that will give you some great experience in not just weddings but also charity events, private events, local community events, etc.
