What is the yearly salary of a wedding planner / consultant ?

I am thinking of taking this path as a wedding planner/consultant, and was wanting to know their yearly salary
Doing my HSC (if you know what it is) this year, thinking pursuing this =)
Wow I wouldnt have a clue but what a great job choice helping ppl on the most important day of their lives. Good luck with that. I guess it would depend how many weddings you do so a better question maybe how much do they earn per wedding.

They usually charge either a percentage of the total wedding cost or an hourly fee. The amount they make depends on how much business they get. If no one hires you, you make nothing. Do you have contacts that could get you this work?
