what kind of education does it take to become a wedding planner?
what is their average salary per a year?
No formal education required
You need experience to get jobs
You cant get jobs without experience
You need to asset someone else (big city only option) or do some for free (or very low cost) …Get pictures
Pay varies greatly – both your location (big city, vs small) and the size of weddings you plan (small little get together or huge events) makes a difference
If you want to go to school, aim for business classes.

I think the salary depends on how much wedding gigs you get i don't know much about the salary…
but i have a friend who is doing that… and she started with no education she just showed people what she could do and did a wedding for free (of course the supplies were paid by the couple ut her labor was free) so she could use it as a sample adn took pictures to show others… but now she got into some courses that will give her a certificate…
you can look at a community college or trade school…

You don't need an education. Make an extensive portfolio of your own while working for others to make contacts. When you leave whomever you are working for they will accuse you of stealing clients, but thats kind of the nature of the business. Salary is unlimited and is based upon the wealth of your clients.
